What:  The Annual Abiding Care Father Daughter Dance

We have some BIG changes this year!!  Please be sure to read all the details below:

Big changes – because we sold out so fast last year and had to turn people away, we are going to have two dances that night to choose from! The times will be 3:00 – 5:00 pm for the first dance and 6:30 – 9:00 pm for the second.  If one dance reaches capacity before the date, dads will still have the option of the other dance.  There will also be an early bird price until October 21st, and then prices will go up.   Each dance will also have it’s own raffles – 3 different ones at each dance.

Small changes – we are using a different platform for ordering tickets, so it’s going to look a little different than what you are used to.  It’s also going to ask for your daughter’s first name and age.  That is just to help us know how many itty-bitty corsages to make and how many regular ones – as it’s been an issue in the past with not having enough of the smaller ones.  You also will not have to print anything to bring with you that night, we will have a check in table that you will just give your name and you will be good to go!  We will also still have the keepsake ‘ticket’ bookmarks for your daughter(s) to take with you.

Things not changing:  There will still be corsages for each of the daughters, keepsake tickets, finger foods and non-alcoholic beverages.  Once again, we will also have several photo op places as well and volunteers on hand to snap a photo for you – along with a photographer who will be there throughout the evening taking pictures, just like last year. We’ll send you the link to view them afterward   Not included in the ticket price:  cash bar and raffle tickets. And because we have a strict, “No Moms Allowed” rule, we will also continue to do the Facebook live check’ins, so moms and grandmas can get a sneak peak at the fun!

Due to having two dances this year, we will need to dismiss people quickly once it hits 5:00 pm, so our crew can come in and clean up and reset for the next dance.   We appreciate your cooperation with this!  This is a trial run this year and a much bigger undertaking, so we will see how it goes and decide next year if its becomes a regular thing or not.  

Thank you so much for your support through your ticket sales and raffle ticket purchases!  The funds raised on this night help support our Family Support program which allows us to come alongside parents who are struggling in various ways with support, education and material assistance.  This program now also includes a fatherhood program to help dads really step into their most important role and understand how important they are.
